History of Palm
Therapy:
In the Autumn of 1985, Moshe Zwang, inventor, and professor of
alternative medicine, invented Palm Therapy (Palmtherapy), the
breakthrough that 10 years later hit the TV screens from coast to
coast in the United States when his book Palm Therapy: Program
Your Mind through Your Palms (732 pages) was first published
and he was invited to FOX TV, Hollywood, to apply the method live on
individuals suffering from severe phobia since childhood--the rapid
results achieved were amazing! Moshe Zwang has been invited to
teach his method in conventions of healthcare professionals all over
the world. Among his students who uses his technique are
psychiatrists, psychologists,
nurses, hypnotherapists, massage therapists, and other
healthcare professionals.
In April 2000, Moshe Zwang's work, Palm Therapy, has been
selected as one of the three greatest landmarks of the past 100
years in the field of hand analysis--hand/mind connection .
(Kenneth A. Lagerstom. Canada,
President of Humandhand.com, publisher of the newsletter
for the serious analyst worldwide.).
Searching for data: Although coming from a
scientifically oriented background, his near-death experience at the
age of thirteen and half has widen his horizons in many aspects.
(About this experience you can read in his book: The Ultimate
Prophecy") Moshe Zwang was fascinated with the secrets of the
hand/mind connection and was determined to research it. As a young
officer in the Israeli Merchant Marine, he had crossed oceans and
visited sacred places all over the world in order to learn more
about the mysteries that the hands reveal directly from sages of
these places. Moshe Zwang had observed thousands of hands and had
collected hundreds of books and professional magazines. His
collection included data from the medical field pertaining to the
hand. Among them research done during open brain surgery which
showed that stimulation for a few minutes in certain areas in the
brain can arouse emotions from overwhelming dread to pleasure and
well-being.
Formulating hypothesis: Since the hand, although
relatively only a small section of the body, has a large area of
representation in the brain, both in the motor and sensory sections
of the cerebral cortex, and there is a bidirectional flow of
information through the nervous system, Moshe Zwang's hypothesis
was that the hand represents some brain activities which relate to
the personality and emotions and therefore we can affect the mind
through a stimulation on specific lines and areas on the hands which
are related to specific personality traits and emotions. Based
on his hypothesis, Moshe Zwang predicted that if the lines of the
palms of the hands truly describe some brain/mind activities related
to personality traits and emotions, then, because of the
bidirectional flow through the nervous system a simple stimulation
on lines and areas correlated to specific personality traits or
emotions represented by these lines or areas, will create a
corresponding effect on the personality, mood, and behavioral
patterns. He also predicted that the effect created should be more
specific than the general soothing effect that may follow a
stimulation of the skin surface.
Achieving results: His hypothesis was supported by
multiple positive results. The effect of Palm Therapy included rapid
release from anxiety, traumatic memories, sever fears, phobias,
anger and grief. Palm Therapy helped to accelerates positive
thoughts and behavior patterns, talents, self-esteem, motivation,
mental clarity and willpower.
Moshe Zwang says: "The hand is like a keyboard of a computer.
If you know where to stimulate you can produce anticipated
results."
Future of
Palm Therapy:
Worldwide Seminars: Beginning October 1998, Moshe
Zwang started to conduct Palm Therapy seminars worldwide. The
seminars are in two forms one designed for practitioners, the
other for individual self-growth/exploration. The names of the
Certified Palmtherapists worldwide are listed on this web site,
including their contact information (some restrictions apply) and
IPTA Certification Serial Number. Check it often as new
names are added. Moshe Zwang's goal is to train as many
therapists as possible all over the world to
further benefit humanity.
Membership and further research: Membership in the
International Palmtherapy Association (IPTA) is offered to
individuals, Palmtherapists and Palmtherapy Instructors. This will
benefit each member and will also help support the future
development of Palm Therapy and research of the hand/mind connection
for the benefit of humanity.
What
Experts, the Media, and Celebrities say about Palm
Therapy:
Palmtherapy Seminar participants share their
experiences:
"I am a Licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist. A number of years ago I participated in the Palmtherapy®
Training Seminars conducted by Moshé Zwang. I watched in amazement
as Moshé worked with volunteers suffering from anxiety, a wide
variety of phobias, and grief. I was impressed with the rapid
results of his method. I was immediately able to utilize what I had
learned during the training. I worked with a businessman who had a
fear of flying and with a child who feared insects. The results were
impressive. I later worked with a woman whose husband died twenty
years ago. She was unable to overcome her grief. Following a
Palmtherapy session, she told me a burden had been lifted and she
would be able to move forward in her life.
My most dramatic Palmtherapy session occurred while on an overseas
trip last year. I was asked to work with a young woman whose friend
and coworker had been stabbed to death and set on fire. In a single
session we worked on her post-traumatic-stress issues and grief. We
also worked on her perfectionism and desire to please others. I
spoke to the client two weeks after our session. She sounded happy
and positive about her future. A follow-up phone call six months
later confirmed her continued improvement. Although striking results
may be seen in a single session, an average of five sessions is
normally required to get relief from deep-rooted painful issues."

I began my study of Palmtherapy in 1998 under the
tutelage of Dr. Moshe Zwang (creator of the technique). Since then,
I have been using it on a regular basis to release emotional pains
or emotional blockages that prevent my clients from reaching their
ultimate goals in life. The results are fascinating ... I have to
evaluate people with suicidal thoughts. After 30-60 minutes of
Palmtherapy, the patients are smiling, calm, and hopeful again. They
certainly need more treatment, but the acute, emergency part can
be addressed with Palmtherapy... I have used have used
Palmtherapy to help calm agitated patients. It has helped them gain
control of their behavior. As a physician, my ultimate goal has
always been the welfare of my patients. Thanks to Dr. Zwang, I
have come across a tool that is helping me reach that goal, which is
why I want the world to know that they have a beautiful, powerful,
and safe technique available to them." --Jean
Raymond Bastien, MD, Psychiatrist, New York, N.Y. USA
I took the Oct (98) and the March (99) class. It's wonderful.
This is my third time, and there has been something different every
time that I can use. My life has definitely changed since the first
time, and I recommend it to all of my
students.--Christine Horwath, Dynamic Integrative
Therapy Teacher and Practitioner, MN
I would like to thank Moshé for helping me learn the
foundations of Palmtherapy...I feel really prepared to utilize what
I have learned. --Penny Weaver, Psychologist, MI
I was particularly astounded at the order and the simplicity
in which the information was disseminated. I feel very confident...
because of the way it was taught. I really appreciate it. Thank you.
Palmtherapy is a wonderful gift to the world.--Edward

From the moment that I first read the Palm Therapy book, I
knew it would be fantastic ... but this one...incredible...it
reached climax... -- Jeremiah Weaver, Hypnotherapist,

This is my first time; I certainly plan to come back. It was
tremendously more than what I anticipated.--Evelyn Boswell,

From celebrities and the
media:
"Extraordinary... for anyone interested in changing or
enhancing their life patterns." "Moshe works with the lines in your
hands to change deeply embedded negative behavior patterns, and thus
altering the direction of your life in alignment with your full
potential... The most striking result after working with him the
first few times, was a dramatic shift in my attitude about the
challenging circumstances I was still confronting. After working
with Moshe , my path seemed easier to define. It was the first time
that I could sense I was actually moving through the difficulties
facing me and that the light at the end of the tunnel was getting
closer." --Cathy Lee Crosby, actress, author & producer,
